Timeless live video from West Mids Police and Fire tells of the value in Community Safety

It's December 2015, four years and three months from when Supt Kerry Blakeman and Commander Simon Shilton invited me to Coventry Police Station to learn about Google+ and Live Video at YouTube.

Having watched back the clip today, it's a timeless piece of work. I have no hesitation in recommending anyone in Policing and Community Safety to take the time to watch.

Kerry and Simon were then, and still are today, the most open minded innovators in Social I have known. It only takes a few seconds to see if something you are told makes sense and you want to know more.

In this case, my promise on how Google were doing something to make Community Engagement easier. What you see here was a demo of video Hangouts that brought in Michael Mozart by chance. At that time,he was one of the very few people to have a Live YouTube account.

Of course, Kerry and Simon went on to many more live video broadcasts and the rest is all history. I'm still here too supporting the Community wherever I can..
