This was uploaded a few days ago by Sustrans. I think there was a camera mounted on a long pole atop a van - guess these are the images.

Kenilworth's Connect2 Bridge is OPEN - Early Bird photos from the Ceremony
In almost tropical heat, the bridge finally opened. Here's a handful of photos from the Opening Ceremony.
In the normal way, when you have more send in your own and I will link all the Tweets, Facebook and even Google Plus albums in tandem.

Connect2 Kenilworth - Bridge finally installed in the early hours of Sunday Morning
Kenilworth woke this morning to find the Connect2 Bridge in place. Councillor John Whitehouse, tweeting from the scene in Coventry Road at 1.34am gave this news: #Connect2 bridge in place. Looks fantastic!
Here are the first images from this morning, so remember Sunday 11 September 2011 - for this is the day that the bridge was born. Next year, a birthday party? Please note the bridge is not open to the public. I've already had questions this morning asking if it is open.
And finally, it's great to see local people tweeting with photos. Received this from @Itchypiglet: Bridge looking good from my bedroom window :) http://twitpic.com/6ja1wt
Update from John Whitehouse (10.18am): Public opening is on 29th Sep. Whole route to town centre will be open then. Facebook Photos

Connect2 Kenilworth - A Work in Progress and The Story So Far
![]() |
View towards Common Lane |
Every time you travel along the A429 Coventry Road at Crackley Hill, there are a few construction cabins. Work is very much in progress on the Kenilworth Greenway Project.
There are two more sources of information: Connect2 Kenilworth and Kenilworth to Berkswell Greenway and Warwick University (from Sustrans)
These photos, sent to wiK, show the section from Crackley Hill, parallel to Woodlands Road to The Common. Please remember the route is NOT open to the public as it's a work in progress. Kenilworth is awaiting a date for the bridge to be fitted which is expected to be in a weekend in late Summer 2011. Update (2.48pm The black tarmac surface is temporary, finished pathway will same as near to Lawrence Gardens, Kenilworth).
From Twitter (25 July): Cllr John Whitehouse@wiKenilworth New bridge over A429 to be installed on Sat 10th September 2011. Link thru' Ken Common a bit later - probably Oct - will celebrate then.
