This past week has seen residents in Burton Green receiving letters from Warwick DC saying take down the banners or else. I have also heard of New House Farm being unable to display pumpkin signs to the farm. So, what is this Section 224 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990? Here it is from wikipedia, but no detail, here is another page from legislation.gov where it all hinges on the Enforcement of control as to advertisements (I am no lawyer - please can someone explain it to me). In the meantime, banner advertsisments are all over Kenilworth - if you see some email them and we can all see if they are naughty or nice.
