Kenilworth Police Station is Finally Closed

This was the site today as the front doors of Kenilworth Police Station have finally closed. Someone has been busy making the entrance into an advertising board. We can see four officers, two mountain bikes and a car with the slogan Working Together and Call 01926 415000 (or go next door to the library of course). The Yellow Telephone Box remains for free calls to the Leamington control room.

The front doors of Kenilworth Police Station had been open for 42 years, 7 months, 2 weeks and 2 days (since opening in 11 July 1968).

See more nostalgic photos of Police Stations of Coventry and Warwickshire - worth a look to spot the odd Panda Car.
