g+ Tweets from SEJ


I've just been asked by a senior uk police officer for some tips on how to capture tweets from the uk riots. Nothing private or sensitive, just tweets sent to his account. I guess with all the activity, there have been so many and now things may be quietening down, this officer would like to take stock and analyse the messages.

Any fast and in depth software out there, I have seen this page which includes The Archivist (in both web and desktop versions, exports to excel as xml and tab txt. Very neat. So, great if folk could point me to what they have used, of course Many Thanks in advance.

Mike Downes  -  I've used The Archivist as desktop app, collected 681 tweets (from user keyword), saved as xml file, opened in excel, very easy and everyone, give it a go.
